  • Parking for all Charleston Marathon events
  • Shuttle:
    • AM - Downtown for Marathon and Half-Marathon Start
    • PM - Return to start for those parked/staying downtown
  • Finish Line for Marathon & Half Marathon
  • Start and Finish Line for 5k

From I-26 take exit 216B, Cosgrove Ave. Follow Cosgrove for three lights. Once you pass over Spruill you will hit a dead end and you will see the large tent about 300 yards ahead. Park and walk to the tent.

  • Late Registration and Packet-Pick up
  • Marathon and Half Marathon start

From I-26 E take exit 221B,  for Meeting St. Turn right on Meeting Street and follow for .8 miles. Turn left on Calhoun Street. 75 Calhoun Street is .2 miles on the right.

The Marathon and Half-Marathon start is at the corner of East Bay and Laurens St.

Parking

There is plenty of free surface parking available at the Charleston Marathon Expo area in North Charleston. The Charleston Marathon strongly suggests parking there at the finish line and we will be providing shuttles to Marathon and Half Marathon participants on the morning of the race but you must reserve these in advance when you register. Walk-up shuttle space will be very limited!!

Shuttles 

Shuttles will be provided to registered participants at a discounted rate of $2. This is for one transfer and must be purchased in advance. Additional transfers are available for $3 in advance and $5 walk-up. Walk-up shuttle space will be VERY LIMITED, so please purchase in advance. You can purchase the shuttle transfer when you register or if you are unsure of your plans, you can always purchase them as an add on by logging in to your registration account. Shuttles will be provided as follows on Saturday, January 14, 2012 leaving from the Charleston Marathon Expo Area:

  • 5:30am-7:30am:  Charleston Marathon Expo Area/Finish Line to Marathon & Half-Marathon check in downtown/Start line.
  • 8:00am-8:45am:  Start line downtown to Charleston Marathon Expo Area/Finish line (for friends and family not driving).
  • 11am-4pm: Charleston Marathon Expo Area/Finish line to downtown/Start line. Will only run on the hour, every hour.
